SAID DURRAH

I oversee our entire Volunteer Department known as the Volunteer Management Office (VMO). This means that anything related to engagement of our 15,000+ Volunteers and Interns nationwide is my top responsibility. This is why I am thankful to have such an awesome team in the volunteer department to better serve our volunteers so we can all help more people around the world. I joined Islamic Relief USA over 6 years ago and have worked in our Fundraising and Community Outreach departments an Event Coordinator and Development Coordinator before making the move to become the National Volunteer Manager. I have traveled all over the world visiting the many different projects implemented by the support of our donors and volunteers including refugee camps, shelters, and even disaster sites. I have witnessed first hand how a small collection drive organized by a few youth or a large fundraiser can change lives. I truly believe volunteers are the backbone of our organization. Your time is so precious and I will always feel so special knowing you are giving that time to us. Let me know if I can help you make that happen!
